Amish Patel

Amish Patel serves as the Chief Operating Officer & Senior Vice President, Space Subsystems of Sierra Space, where he leads all aspects of the company’s rapidly scaling operations. In this role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence across manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, information technology, and facilities, to support the company’s ambitious growth in the commercial space sector.

With nearly two decades of experience in supply chain and operations, Amish brings a proven track record of building high-performing, agile organizations across aerospace, automotive, and advanced manufacturing industries. His expertise spans end-to-end supply chain strategy, production optimization, and the integration of innovative technologies to enable scalable and resilient operations.

Prior to joining Sierra Space, Amish served as Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Rocket Lab, where he played a critical role in leading material planning, sourcing strategy, procurement, and global logistics functions. His leadership was instrumental in supporting the company’s rapid growth and launch cadence, and the integration of acquisitions post-SPAC.

Amish has also held senior leadership roles at L3Harris Technologies, Singer Vehicle Design, and SpaceX, where he has led organizations through transformations and rapid scaling.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and International Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Astrophysics from Indiana University Bloomington, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach to innovation and problem-solving.
